I am a coordinator at heart! I've been coordinating events in a variety of contexts for years - planning retreats and service projects in college, orchestrating volunteers for church events, hosting birthday parties for friends, and eventually it became my full-time profession as an event planner for an non-profit organization in Washington, D.C. I've discovered a knack and joy for making great things happen for great people and bringing details together for a smooth and memorable event!
I began coordinating weddings in 2009 when a friend asked me to manage her reception. Over the years, it's been a joy to walk with many brides as they plan their special day and to make their lives easier by taking charge of the details. I love seeing couples have the time of their life on their wedding day without a care in the world, knowing that everything is taken care of by someone who gets both the big picture and the minute details of their special day.
When I'm not planning weddings, I love spending time with family, husband, and friends. Skiing, tossing around a frisbee, swing dancing, and traveling to new places rank among my favorite things to do.
